Flux’s plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) model is perfect for your daily commute.  It gives you all the benefits of the HEV model, but it adds in an all-electric driving mode and the ability to charge its batteries directly from normal household electricity.  Depending on the make and model of your car this will offer 15-20 miles of all-electric driving range on a full charge. For example, you could charge your car overnight, drive it 20 miles to work, charge it at work, and then drive 20 miles back all without using any gas.  This offers the potential to reduce your gas usage to almost nothing depending on your driving, while also offering the best possible range paired with increased efficiency when you use gas on longer trips.
